My ancestors came from Surby, so I've been trying to find some pictures of Surby and it's houses, but there's not many I can find. I found a picture of Surby Post Office but it looks deserted, is it still a Post Office? Then I wondered why there's no pictures taken from the top of the Tower overlooking Port Erin? Seems it would be a really good place to take photos of all around the Isle, and out to sea. I read that the tower is the shape of a key, but I have never seen an aerial shot looking down on it to show it's shape. There's lots of long distance pictures of the tower, but none close-up, and inside, and I wondered why. IP : 124.168.229.76 |
