My grandparents lived at 15 Palatine Road, Douglas, Isle of Man. They had 5 children born on the Isle of Man. Annie Irene,Edith,James Douglas,Margaret Marion and William. My grandparents were William Killey, an advocate's clerk and Edith Killey, nee Williams. They settled in Winnipeg, Manitoba,Canada where a son, Matthew, was born. We travelled to the Isle of Man approx. 4 years ago but we were only there for 2 full days. I hope a relative will read this and contact me. Thanks.

think I've been here before but just found the address when I was cleaning out my desk. I am so glad I found it, too. I have been thinking about you for a while now. I would like to share your website with other family members. I'm sure you won't mind if I do. I will put your web address on my facebook page. I am certain others in our family will be as excited as I was to find family from the home country.

So I'm trying to find more information on a Joseph Henry Killey. He was born in Castletown, Isle of Man in 1874. He moved to Wentworth, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and was co-owner of Osborne-Killey Manufacturing Company. He was married to Agnes Jackson and had a son named William John. If anyone else has any information on him and could contact me at thomaswilliamkelly1@gmail.com it would be much appreciated! :)

stumbled upon this site while wasting time one day - and, in reference to post no. 43 (from Fran Bundy), my great grandmother is Mona Crellin Killey. My paternal grandmother was Louisa Henrietta Fenton Garnett Williamson, daughter of Mona Killey and Robert Williamson. I was recently digging through family stuff and started working on a brief family tree just so i could figure out who old letters were from, about, the connections etc. I did not know there is "Killey" connection with the Isle of Man...is that also the case with the "Crellin" family?

  Hello!
I've just started working on the family tree, and I'm working my way back from Mary Elizabeth Killey (born 1906), daughter of Evan Killey (born abt 1881) son of William Killey (born abt 1831). William Killey was a coal dealer according to the 1891 census, and his wife's name was Annie Oates. If anyone has any information to share, or is related to me, please get in touch! Thanks, Bernie
